Welcome to the website of the 52nd Meeting of
the European Public Choice Society!
The Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Latvia, is pleased to organize the 52nd Meeting of the European Public Choice Society. The event will take place on April 3-5, 2025. The European Public Choice Society promotes scientific research on the economics and politics of public and non-market decision-making, political economy and the economics of institutions. The annual meeting brings together researchers with a shared interest in Public Choice.
Conference fees will be announced later this year, but will be similar to previous EPCS Annual Meetings (350-450 euros for standard fees, reduced fees for PhD students).

The Wicksell Prize
The Wicksell prize, in honour of the Swedish economist Johan Gustaf Knut Wicksell, is awarded to the best paper written and co-authored by researchers under the age of 30 years (as of December 31, 2024).
The Wicksell prize is generously sponsored by the European Journal of Political Economy published by Elsevier.
If you fulfil the age criterion and wish to be considered for the Wicksell prize, then please indicate so in the submission form when you submit your paper for the conference.
