Registration

We are looking forward to seeing you in Riga in 2025! After your paper is accepted to the conference, you may register for the conference via Conftool, the conference management platform. 

Accommodation 

We have negocitated special prices for conference participants with three hotels, located within 5 minutes of SSE Riga by walk. The price starts from 55 EUR per night for a double room (single occupancy, including breakfast). More information coming soon!

Waivers 

The European Journal of Political Economy kindly finances registration fee waivers for young scholars from non-advanced economies whose paper is accepted. To be eligible you need to fulfil these criteria: (1) the author/presenter must be under 35 years of age (2) the author must work in a country that is not considered an advanced economy (as defined by the IMF). If your paper is accepted, the European Journal of Economy will cover the registration fees. 

The Forum for Research on Eastern Europe and Emerging Economies (FREE Network) kindly finances registration fee waivers for authors of accepted papers affiliated with institutional members of the Network - SITE (Stockholm), BEROC (Minsk), BICEPS (Riga), CenEA (Szczecin), ISET (Tbilisi) and KSE (Kyiv). 

Cancellation policy

Until March 1, 2025: Refund 80%.

After March 1: No refund.

The conference is also open to researchers who do not plan to present a paper and accompanying persons, subject to space constraint.
